Replace power supply or not?

I've used an Enermax Noisetaker 420W in an overclocked Athlon 64 system for the past two years. It was perfectly stable, but I only had a 6600GT in there. In the next few weeks, hopefully, I will get a E6300 and overclock that. How much more power does it draw compared to a Winchester 3200+? Assuming I'll still be using my 6600GT, should I consider getting a more powerful PSU?

But say I replace the video card to something more power-hungry like a 7900GT. Should I then consider a new power supply or would my current one still hold?

With a 7900GT you'll most likely still be ok & if your psu was brand-new you could prob even get away with a 256mb X1950XT, but if you factor in the power drop caused by aging, you would want to upgrade in the latter case.

To answer your original question, you'll be fine with what you have for the motherboard/cpu.
