Replace my 1Ghz Thundy with a 1.8Gz Cel

Forget even thinking about a Celeron.

Save your money that you were thinking to upgrade, and get a real system that would kick both the TB and Cel 1.8.. Heck, with the same amount money you can get a Barton 2500+ and a new board(since you have to get a new board with DDR ram anyway with the celery)

Read this guide here and note the advice about levering the clip using the screwdriver. Play the video clip to see the levering, then imagine reversing the action while uninstalling.
