Replace Heatsink Fan Only

I have a Cool Jag heatsink that came with my A64 combo from Monarch. Can you just replace the fan without taking out the heatsink? I'm thinking ahead in case the fan goes bad. I may want to reduce the noise because the fan on the heatsink is probably the loudest of all my fans. Thanks.

Yes, you can almost always replace just the fan - but often the whole thing doesn't cost any more than the fan alone (if it's a really good fan). http://www.SVC.com, http://www.jab-tech.com and others have a large selection of fans.

Yeah, just replace it with any 70mm fan and you should be good.
