Replace Armor fans or no?

I've got a TT Armor (W/ 25cm fan) for a while and I'm wondering if I should upgrade the case fans. Are the ones that are stock with that case any good? It feels like (when I put my hand behind them/in front) they are pushing/pulling some air but I have nothing to compare them too.

Would upgrading to higher end fans (I've got 2 120's n 2 90's) make a big difference? If so what are good fans to upgrade too (I'd like to keep the LED's I have no but it's not important)?

Thanks. :)

OMGOMGOMG please and i say please change the fans.

i have that case, and the fans that come with it, are way too loud imo.

Yates and jab-tech.com for ~4 dollars each is recomended for silence.

if u dont mind, leave them..

Noise isn't an issue to me, sure I don't like it, but I don't care.

Are Yates the way to go for high end (is there fan high end?) cooling.

btw I'd like for them to be available at newegg. :)

Scythe S-Flex - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835185005
This is the in-between model. Get the faster one (1600RPM) if you're putting it on a fan controller. There's a slower one too.

Scythe Kaze Jyu - http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi...&Submit=ENE&N=0&Ntk=all&Go.x=8&Go.y=29
100mm that mounts in a 92mm space. Also has 3 different speed versions.

IMO scythe fans arent worth the price. Artic Cooling's FDB series are better value. Also cheaper then Scythes.

In general, there isnt that much of a difference in performance and noise vs a yate. Thats why yates are sooo recomended. After all, Yates are OEM Nexus fans, and it doesnt get much quieter then that.

And honestly i dont think any fan is "high end". Each has its purpose, and function. Loud fans' are usually high CFM fans, that push 100+ cfm, Super quiet ones, are slow spinning fans with moderate CFM, but low noise.

If there is a fan that iwould call high end, it would be a Pappist, or Noctuna. As these fans get quiet expensive at 24.99 and 19.99 EACH respecitively

He wanted higher quality fans from newegg. FDB fans are very good, they don't have them at newegg.

I prefer to shop at newegg but I'll buy from any other respectable online retailer if I have too. The only thing is they need to accept PayPal (which newegg does) because I'd like to clear the money in my paypal.

Other paypal places:

http://www.performance-pcs.com/
http://www.svc.com/

You can find just about any fan at either of these places. Yate loons at both...if you go through Performance PCs and don't care about sleeving, make sure you check the options for fans...the Yate Loons 120mm orange are listed at $7.95...in the options you can choose "No changes" for $3.00 less.

AF FDB fan

Only problem is it can only push air out. And not pull air in.

Another AF FDB fan

They perform almost on par with the scythe. Not noticible unless your ear is right over the fan.

Papst - however a cheap version. Ive seen the better versions of this fan go up to 24.99

Noctuna

This might be the Quiest fanin its CFM class.

ack...I briefly scanned the fan names for FDB...didn't really look at the model numbers. I've been had.

No response to the PBR link? Come on...C&C's lost its humor. ;)

Oh, and last time I bought a fan I almost pulled the trigger on the Noctuna, now they're OOS. Boo.

rofl. that is a downgrade.

I dont see why your having so many problems with the Armor. The P900 is a DOWNGRADE from the armor.

You can buy a upgraded Side Pannel at newegg with a 25CM fan for 34.99, if you want something that big. The front Icage as well as the rear Icage rocks, and theres plenty of room for cable management, or lack of.
