My hose is leaking at the metal connector (Male). Home Depot sells repair kits. Are they worth the investment?

depends on how much a new hose costs, seems to me a hose cant be that expensive, new things are always fun anyways

go for it, if its less than 50% of the price of a new hose, or $6.99, and it works.
