Repeater or signal booster?

I have the Linksys wireless router (BEFW11S4) sharing my cable connection, and I can get a signal in every room of my house except the bedroom, where it magically disappears. I don't have a cordless phone..I believe the problem has to do with the shape of my house (almost an "L"...the only path to the bedroom is outside and then back in).

I know that Linksys sells the wireless access point (WAP11) that can serve as a repeater, but they also sell a signal booster (WSB24). I'm not sure if it would be better to use the repeater to "shoot" the signal over two shorter distances, or to use the signal booster and try to make the original signal strong enough to reach the bedroom. What are some general reccomendations as to which solution would work better?
