Repairing Win2K

By repairing an existing Win2K HD by means of the Win2K will all my data be lost or will it be just like repairing a Win98 installation. By installing Win98 over itself all it would do, for the most part, is re-create teh windows folder and registry but all previous programs that existed still functioned.

So is this possible with Win2K? I don't want to lose my data if I choose to re-install Win2K

The "R" option of the install is the best thing M$ has ever done. All you data will be just fine. Just dont choose "install", choose "repair" and it'll just fix the OS and retain all the settings.
