Repairing Macbook

Hi,

I have a Macbook with backlight issues (backlight switches on and off depending on angle of the screen) so I am considering swapping the inverter and the cables. This repair requires a complete disassembly, which I am comfortable with. The only issue is where to get the parts. On eBay, there are inverters/cables that are DIRT cheap - but shipped free from China, which makes me question their authenticity/reliability (Yes, I am aware Apple manufactures in China).

Since the disassembly alone is likely to take 1-2 hours, I'd rather not buy shady parts - I've bought "re-manufactured" brake calipers for a car before and let me tell you it is a royal pain in the neck when the parts fail.

Anybody with a good but cheap source for Macbook parts?

ifixit.com and powerbookmedic.com come to mind. They are not the cheapest, their parts are OEM however, you order from them and you know that you are getting the real deal.
