Repairing CD RW Disks?

Will ... i got a couple of CD RW discs which wont format anymore using nero (even full format) or windows xp's eraser....

I have tried different drives.

They arent scratched... (too much).. so i doubt if thats the problem.

So can they be made re usable or are they coasters...?

i had a few CDRWs that did that.

my advice .. toss those piece of crap discs. get a nice USB2.0 thumbdrive. Faster and smaller ..

Got a USB 2.0 compact flash reader ... and have a spare CF card... so that does the job.

I just wanted to make sure before i tossed em out...

Have you tried alcohol 120% ?

if not try it & check off ignore illegal TOC (always erase)
