Repairing a slightly scratched laptop screen - any suggestions?

I just bought a laptop, and it has a small scratch on the screen. It is not that big, but it still stand out against a white background. Is there anything I can do to make it less visible? I know there are quite a few lens scratch removers, but I don't think they will work too well on a laptop screen. Any suggestions will be greatly appreaciated. Please PM me if you would like to help; I don't have internet access at home right now, so I won't be able to check this forum too often.

You will probably have to live with it. Messing with the LCD might just make it worse. Actually, you might look to see if there are any LCD protector films. Applying a film to the LCD might make it harder to notice the scratch. I don't know if they exist or not, just a thought.
