Repair TAR Archive

Does anyone know of a good free program i could use to repair a TAR archive? Thanks.

There's nothing to repair with, tar files are just some filename information and the file data concatinated, there's no compression or redundancy information. I _think_ GNU tar will extract everything that's not corrupt, but I can't say for sure.
