Repair shop lost my sub grill. What options do I have?

I took my sub in with the grill still on for repair work. When I went to pick it up there was no grill on it so I told them I brought it in with the grill. They practically searched the whole place but couldn't find it so they took down my name, address and phone incase they find it later. Well it's been a week already and no calls or my grill in the mail.

I'm going to call them back today but if they still can't find it, what options do I have? It's a discontinued sub so I doubt it'll be possible to get a replacement. I've already paid for the repair work when I picked it up.

Id tell them they need to provide you with a new grill or subwoofer. Thats just ridiculous that they'd loose something like that...like HOW do you loose something like that? You take it off, repair sub, remount grill...its a 1,2,3 step process.

Stuff like that happens even to the best businesses. It's not like they messed up your car; and it sounds like they are willing to handle it.

Can they not order another grill from the manf?

Was it any special type of grill(custom metal)? Or just a basic one with speaker cloth that snaps on to the front? If it's the cloth one you can make your own for about $5 in wood and speaker cloth.
