Repair Corrupt File System?

My data drive is acting up 🙁

I have found a couple of apps that will retreive the data, but they cost more than I can afford. They at least show me all the data is still there, and that it is accessible. Does anyone know of an app that will repair the drive (Maxtor 6Y120L0)? Checked on the Maxtor site, am getting an app from them, but I think it just checks for bad sectors.

The status of the drive in MMC says: Unreadable, and the capacity is 0

If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them!

 
I went to r-tt.com. I think that it was $50. It recovered 2997 of my 3002 files when I formatted a drive, twice. Trust me, it is worth $50 if you want your data back.
