Just finishing up a Lian-Li aquarium case with custom fans, lighting, sleeving etc.

Have one nasty 1 inch scratch on acrylic window and several small scratches on aluminum. Best repair methods?

i've heard you can polish the windows using meguiars(sp)auto plastic polish. i'm not sure how u do aluminum since u'd have to go with the grain. or ud have to use fine sandpaper. using several different grades.

i just wouldn't worry about it. scratches are bound to happen, no matter how careful you are.

Take a look at Novus #2 polish. I ordered some of that to fix some light scratches on my case's door. Hasn't arrived yet so I don't know how well it works or how easy it is to use.

I got a scratch in my Lian-Li case, what ever you do DON'T, I repeat DON'T try to sand it out. I did and it screwed up my case. I ended up cutting the top of the case out and putting in a HUGE window to cover the scratch and sandpaper damage I caused.

Did I forget to mention DON'T use sandpaper?

I was nervous about sanding. I've ordering some appilques and decals.

Thanks for the warning and confirmation - much appreciated.
