I have just one question about the Florida school shooting. The school was a very large high school with 3300 students. For no reason the media brought 5 students to the attention to the American people. Mr. Hogg was one of them. From my understanding none of the 5 students on Time magazine were anywhere near the shooting.

Just one quick Google: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/david-hogg-on-campus-rumor-hoax/

I fail to see what your point really is though, millions of students have been impacted by school shootings not near them.

Funny but not a real answer can you use your own words?
The term influencer is new. Apparently these 5 kids served the desired image for the Florida incident. My Seinfeld link simply implies because someone was at the location of a mass casualty event does not mean they were directly in harms way.

They had a town hall on CNN. One of the questions was did you know any of the deceased students. One of the five students featured on Time magazine answered he knew a sibling of one of the deceased. I do not think any of the other 4 knew any of the deceased.

So basically what I said. Your pointless point is pointless.

It's only relevant to your post count. I always wonder how people get 70,000 posts on a forum. I now know why you have 70,000 posts. I will refer to you as captain comment from now on.

1) that doesn’t make any sense.

2) captain comment is a terrible nickname. If you’re going to make some pathetic attempt to talk shit to me at least try and do a better job.

Anyway, thanks for confirming I was right, haha.

Meanwhile, do you have a fucking point to make or not? If so, state your point and quit being a gutless cowardly weasel.

What a weird reply. Remember, the kids coming up in school will be impacted by events happening at schools, including active shooter drills and other policies that have been put in place to deter shooters and / or reduce, mitigate, manage death toll.

You wanna look at the parkland shooting in regards to this House Rep, the shooting happened, not debatable. The miami herald did a timeline of the shooting that was absolutely horrific to read.

This HOR member blamed a security guard, when others argue the shooter should have never been able to legally purchase all that gear to begin with. And she claims parkland and sandy hook were false

I dont know what you think is going on here, but like Bryce said, you got a pointless point, unless you're subscribing to conspiracies

Perhaps the parents of a student who was directly next to a killed student didn't want their child on the cover of Time.

Any student of that school at the time is a reasonable advocate.

I remember a young girl dying in a car accident in high school. I barely knew her, but I had of course seen her and I'm sure I had her in a class. Of course the news rippled around the high school, but no one cared except her 3 closest friends. The rest of us went on with life, and were not qualified to speak about any sort of loss, because if you remember any part of high school, an incident like that doesn't affect the rest of the student body.

I would imagine my high school aged self, if in a school where someone came in and slaughtered other students, would simply shrug and go about my day. I can't imagine them even cancelling any classes, I mean life goes on, the majority of us were not actually shot at or wounded. Why would I have any input if asked?
