Reopening the BitchX process... possible?

I was just wondering if you use telnet and log onto a linux box, open a BitchX session and log on to a server etc, and then close the telnet session... can you open that same BitchX session again and continue using it next time you log back on with telnet?

Yes this is possible, but I have not done it in so long i cant remember how
It is a switch when you run BitchX that sets this option.....

yes..

you could use screen to make a virtual terminal for you, start bitchx in that screen and it could run forever as long as the box is up. i know people that do that all the time. (you might have to install screen, its available for any distro)
