I've got a two bedroom, 1264 sq. ft. condo I need to rent out so I can get into my new house. Any suggestions or tips on how to find someone quickly? What to charge in rent? And so on.
Renting is usually much easier than finding someone to buy your place. Try putting an ad in (I hate to say it...I'm a Wolverine) OSU's paper. You might find a grad student or a PhD candidate who's in the market for something like that.
For rent, look in the local paper on how much places are going for... use those as a guide. Make sure you do a background check on the person renting. You dont want to have to evict them... They can just stop paying you rent whenever they want and you cant do anything for about six months. Get a contract.
