Renting a Ventrilo Server

Has anyone ever rented a Ventrilo server? I'm shopping around for a 50 slot, high quality, and unmetered service. I've looked at the choices on Ventrilo's site but I would like to hear of any personal experience with a company.

I haven't had personal experience with a company, but I've used typefrag and it works well.

ive used typefrag, it worked fine, no problems. what do u mean by meters customers? are you saying if u max out the amt of users, and they're always talking - they'll shut you down for using too much bandwidth?

typefrag will charge you additional money if you use too much bandwidth. I'm not too sure on the limits.

Do not deal with NRGServers.net. They have terrible customer service and I haven't heard anything from them despite paying in full.

I went with Hurricane Host (as suggested by dartworth) and I am very happy. They answered my e-mails in < 5 minutes! My server was up and running in < 2 minutes after Pay Pal was sent! :thumbsup:

I've had nrgservers.net for about 5 months now and have had no problems whatsoever. I'm currently renting the 50 slot high quality server for $10/month.

nrgservers.com has the best bang for buck but customer service isn't too hot, I think gameservers might be okay...it depends on who you get it from really. I have been on many ventrilo servers and I can never really tell the difference in them.
