 We're cool.
Honestly, it's not as though anyone has to justify their choices to me. I just wish them luck with those choices as gas prices continue to rise.
A few years ago I was enjoying being able to ride my bicycle to work...nice and smug in my self but now I'm driving 60 miles a day. I'm making more money but cycling isn't an option and commuting by motorcycle is not really a viable a long term solution.
What amazes me is people continue to buy these vehicles when they really have no need for them.
Well there you go. You've traded fuel use for living and working where you want to. It always amazes me that people complain about SUVs but live and work far apart.
We drive a Suburban that gets 14/18 with a 31 gallon tank. But my wife and I car pool and live close to work so we fill it up once every 3 weeks.
