yeah i seen the adapter in the trunk.

i don't get it why go gas-cap less? wouldn't that let in dirt?

i do admit it was neat. a selling point though? heck no.

It's pretty convenient when filling up. If I had an option I'd choose to have one over not having it. Saves a little time. I have a '11 f150.

oh yeah if it was a option (free one anyway) i would go for it. it only saves what 3 seconds?

i did think it was neat. first time i filled up the car it threw me for a loop though. i thought someone lost it hehe.

I don't think it cost me any extra? Either way I have a lariat so pretty much my truck came with every option anyways.

If they offered the 5-speed in higher level trim I would have considered it more seriously. Oh well.

I ended up getting an SE for the reason that it was the only way I could get a 5sp. I really wanted to pick up a titanium, but I needed a car that was reliable and having to hope for software fixes on a new transmission wasn't very interesting to me since I've gotten stuck with a lemon in the past.

Picked up a new white SE Hatch with Sync/Sirius, nothing else (even has the cheap plastic hubcaps) for just over 17k OTD; doesn't handle nearly as well as my Legacy that it replaced, but getting 35mpg with hilly highway driving at over 6000ft, enough pep to pass on the highway, and more tech than NASA made me a happy owner.

Told the salesman that I would have gotten a fully loaded TI if they had put a dang manual in it.

I bought a 2012 Focus SE hatchback, candy blue, 5 speed, sport package this week.

I'm loving the car. Came from an 07 speed3. Sure, it doesn't have the torque of the speed3. But it rides way better, way quieter inside, cool gadgets inside, better gas mileage, etc. I am actually quite impressed with how well it handles for how smooth the ride is. The seats are great (get the sport package, you get better seats.)

I remember quite a few years ago Ford put the no gas cap on a concept car and said that it would be on all cars in 2010. I think the concept car was back in like ~2003, there was a thread on here about it.
