Yeah, good story. When I was into flight simming, I duplicated the event and the landing using FS2000/FS2002 + 767PIC.

Looks interesting & reminds me of a documentary I saw (I think on Discovery) about how a pilot in a new model Airbus (?) mis-read the planes fuel-guages & accidently dumped like 3/4th of their fuel over the middle of the Pacific ocean due to incorrect maintenence combined with a fuel leak & compounded by the pilots being unfamilar with the aircraft ... they ended up just making an emergency landing on a really short island runway with no loss of life due to some incredible flying skills.

Yes, but no on my first few attempts.
