Rent Cargo Van from Enterprise

dxkj

1) Do they realize people rent vehicles just for a day to haul ****** with them?
2) Any ideas what mileage Ford/GM cargo vans get on avg?
3) What is max weight limit for cargo vans? I did some searching and found a few spotty references saying around 2 tons
4) Why would people get vans from uhaul if places like enterprise rented them so much cheaper

Dunno about those answers but I recently rented a cargo van from Enterprise.

It ended up costing me close to $100 because of insurance. Apparently, personal and credit card auto insurance does not cover commercial vehicles.

How far are you going? You can rent a small budget truck for about $20 + mileage for the Day. Stay away from uhaul if at all possible. If you need to go a decent distance then you can make a deal with the people at the truck rental place as long as you pickup and dropoff at the same place. Remember that they make no money if the truck sits there all day so you have the upper hand especially on a weekday. Otherwise cargo van rental from Enterpise type places is about $65 a day usually with unlimited mileage and they get about 12-14 MPG.
