someone called my cell phone this afternoon from Rent-A-Center saying that my number was down for a reference for some dude i never heard of.
should i be worried?
this ever happen to someone else?

If you have time, follow it up. You never know what a person may be doing with your info.

Fredtam did say not worry because of that reason, but caution is warranted.
