Just got a brand spanking new 7900GTX and mated it with an Opteron 146 @3000MHz. Finally got rid of (well, actually I'm saving it as a spare) 6200TC and the result was refreshing. Coolbits detects my card's optimal clock as 709/908(=1816)
So I ran 3DMark05 with that speed. It's superfast! Wasn't sure whether to go SLI, but with the kind of performance I'm getting (and the notorious layout of A8N32-SLI), I'm content with this for now.

On the other hand, 3DMark06 is a total BS. It seems like a single core CPU is getting handicapped by at least ~1000+ points. Still a decent score. (In the sig)
F.E.A.R test @16x12 (Max everything except S.S.) yields average 50FPS.
