Windows 7 Pro 64, Asus p8p67, i5 Sandy Bridge

I've tried everything from deleting and re-installing the drivers to going into the Renesas program and disabling the power-save feature. USB 3.0 is already set to 'on' in bios. For some reason, this yellow exclamation point is always on in Device Manager with "Device Cannot Start.." About 4 out of 5 times, if I disable then re-enable, it comes on fine with yellow mark gone and my USB 3.0 devices are finally recognized. On reboot, the problem starts over.

Any ideas?

Sorry for reply a old topic, but I'm doing that to avoid create another thread with the same problem.

I'm having the same problem with my Intel DH67BL motherboard.

And I've searched all the google to find some solution but no success. My BIOS is updated, the last driver 2.1.16.0.

I think this could be a physical problem but I've found many people with the same problem.

Some people have the same problem but when they disable "Renesas USB 3.0 Host Controller" on device manager and enable again, the problem is solved but not to me, the problem continue.

I don't know what can I do.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Matiello

EDIT:

I've just contacted Intel Support and I figure out this problem is "normal" to my motherboard that is DH67BLBR

I need to wait a solution from Intel.

Finally I've found a solution.

I'm using this driver 2.1.16.0, but the problem is with firmware.

That now a new version was released.

Can be found here:

Firmware Version 3.0.2.8.0.8 (Windows 32 & 64bits)
http://www.station-drivers.com/page/nec.htm

When I talked with Intel through chat online, the support said that my motherboard was a problem with USB 3.0 because my model is DH67BLBR.

But now with this firmware, the yellow exclamation is gone.

Hope help other guys.

Thanks

I've same problem with my MSI GT680R notebook.
I'm also using Renesas chipset, but I don't know which one exactly

there is two different firmwares for
uPD720200a
and
uPD720202

which one is the one MSI GT680R uses?
