Rendering Video from Premiere Pro

Some friends have this ongoing debate about video rendering in Premiere Pro. One says running dual Xeons will render faster since Premiere is a multi-threaded app that supports dual processor. Another says that switching the harddrives to a RAID configuration will render the video faster. Another thinks that creating two physically different drives (a SCSI for system/apps and a serial ATA for data) is the way to go. I was wondering if any of you wanted to chime in on this. Thanks in advance.
