I'd still take the SLR over the Carrera GT in a heartbeat.

For comfort...yes. But for all-out balls to the walls performance, styling and handling....you gotta love the Carrera GT.

As Jeremy said, the SLR basically does what you tell it and keeps itself in check with ESP and such. The Carrera GT demands your attention and even the Stig needed about 6 tries to get it perfect 😉

Exactly. I could never drive that car. I'm just not a highly skilled driver. I can drive fast in a straight line, but if I'm fishtailing I have about a 15% chance of pulling myself out of it. Handling is not my forte. So a car that's harder to handle than usual... no thanks. Plus I'm not proficient with a standard, and the Merc is an auto. 😀
