I have some of these installed into my drywall: http://www.toggler.com/products/snaptoggle/overview.php

But want to shift the position of them. It says that it's "reusable", but I can't figure out a way to remove them--any tips?

If you are talking about shifting their position on the wall itself, I don't think you can. The page you linked to indicates that they are reusable in the same hole (i.e. you can change what you are hanging from a single installation). You remove the bolt while leaving the anchor in the wall, replace what is being hung, and then screw the bolt back in.

Do you need to reposition them well away from the current location? If so, I would just start over with new toggles. However, it sounds like you might want to move them only a small distance, in which can a new installation might not work (i.e. if you are essentially trying to install immediately adjacent to the current installation). If that's the case (and you are hanging something with some serious weight), you might be better off dispending with the toggle concept altogether by opening cutting out some drywall and installing some wood bracing to give yourself something to screw into.

You pretty much have to buy new ones, unless you want to destroy your wall :).

As queequeg99 said, these are only reusable in the same hole. The spring loaded toggle bolts fall down the wall cavity if the bolts are unscrewed fully, so this style is much more reusable, but not completely.

If this is for a TV can you get some of the movement you want by adjusting the brackets on the TV?

they are not reusable in that fashion. Once they are installed, they are reusable in the specific location in which they were installed (to hang other things). They call them reusable because the "older" toggle bolts fall behind the wall after you unmount the thing that was hanging on the wall. These do not fall behind the wall, so that you can "reuse" them. The only thing you really can do is go back to lowes/home depot and buy more and mud over the toggle bolts that you don't need anymore within the wall.

Right on..It was for my shelf that I moved down which did a good enough job of hiding it.

But I can't actually physically remove them so I can repatch the spots..any tips on that? I tried a knife but didn't have a lot of luck.

Technically, you can drill through the plastic with the same 1/2" drill bit used to make the pilot hole in the first place. The metal bar will just fall behind. Then you have to mud the 1/2" hole.

Ahhh such a simple solution, can't believe I didn't think of that, thanks!

If the toggle bolt spins with the drill so that nothing happens, you can try to hammer the toggle bolt plastic through the wall using some tool lying around, maybe a 1/2" rod or a large screwdriver...
