I used to have the old version of PestPatrol (when they were called eTrust), and whenever i right click a folder it has "Scan directory with eTrust PestPatrol", but i don't even have it installed (i can't find it in the add/remove programs thing anymore). is there anyway i can remove this?

You have to edit the registry... At your own risk. Good time to backup.

Start>run>regedit
In the left pane locate HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
Inside the shell folder find the subfolder that reads "Scan directory with eTrust..." as it's default vaule shown in the right pane.
Right click the matching folder in the left pane and select delete.
Reboot and it should now be gone.

alternatively, if you're nor comfortable editing the registry manually there's plenty of tools like 'RegSupreme Pro' (shareware, just install, use, uninstall) that offer direct context menu editing....
