How do you go about removing it, and when do you get the stuff to remove it, if any? Screwdrivers dont work very well...

Screwdriver = potential scarring of the HS

Try using nail polish remover, then clean up with isopropyl alcohol.

I scrape it off with a credit card, then clean the bottom up with q-tips and nail polish remover. Shouldn't be THAT hard to get off.

Acetone works well (nail polish remover), also isopropyl alchahol. I do reccomend cleaning the acetone off with alchahol, especially on cpus, just to be safe. Soft plastic like a credit card helps, no hard metals.

I used GOOF OFF, which is like a glue or sticker remover, works pretty good, and follow by rubbing alcoholl.....

I second that. I tried to scrape my P4 HSF with some hard plastic and
it ruined alluminium pad that is under the thermal pad of P4 HSF

AMD might be a little more tolerent but stay away from any metal
no matter what :)
