Removing Thermal Grease...

Currently, I am using the thermal grease that came with my Global Win FOP-38. I was getting decent temperatures, but that fan is too loud, so I swapped in a nearly silent 4500 rpm fan for that 7000 rpm monster. Anyway, by temps rose up to about 53 degrees, so I thought I would put some arctic silver on to cool it down. What is the best way to remove the grease that is currently on my processor.

thanks

If you cant find "rupping alcohol" Try Isopropyl alchohol, AKA rubbing alcohol. Its used all throught out the electronincs industry for all types of applications

Make sure that you get the alcohol that has a low H2O content. and allow it to dry for about 1 hour before setting it up and using it. I almost fried a processor by using some not so pure alcohol.
