removing thermal adhesive on ramsinks

I just bought some ocz ramsinks and they come with this thermal adhesive on the bottom. I want to remove it so I can use my own epoxy. what is the best way for me to remove the adhesive?

I believe that is thermal tape. Just use your finger nail and remove it. Don't use anything metalic and avoid scratching the metal (sink). After you have removed the tape use alcohol (90%) to clean it completely.

thanks, alcohol worked great. The heatsinks get pretty warm now, so i guess they r working
