Removing the Taskbar entry for AIM?

Is there any way i can remove the box on the taskbar (where is says "Buddy List window"). Trillian is what i ususally use, but it does perform very well on this much slower lapptop i have. The screen resolution is very small so i'm trying to save taskbar space.


I'm using the beta AIM 5.2.bunchofnumbers, and dead aim 4.0

there should be some kind of setting if you go into the options/preferences of AIM where you can choose to "hide taskbar" or "minimize to icon tray" or something like that.

Preferences->Buddy List (first item in the column on the left )->Hide taskbar ....

bump still need help, i dunno what is wrong but i don't have that option... hmmm
