Removing Stickers from RAM

yes I KNOW it voids the warranty 😛


I want to put some heat spreaders on my RAM, because I like the way they look. What is the best way to remove the stickers? A fresh razorblade perhaps?

I don't know much about it myself but some people are of the opinion that heat spreaders do nothing on RAM - only there to look nice or even worse hide overclocked chips.

But if you really want them I'd sell the old stuff and buy some new stuff with heat spreaders already attached. I know that's not an answer to your question but it is a solution. 😛

Peel them off and use isopropyl on a coffee filter to remove the residue.

Yea you just remove those stickers with a razor blade and it should come off. I sometimes did that at my old job.
