Removing Rivets?

Does anyone have experience removing these from a computer case? I'm looking to take the top off of my coolermaster cavalier so I can put in a blowhole...

Typically, you have to drill out rivets in order to remove them. Make sure you have a very sharp drill bit, good drill, and steady hands (don't try it while hung-over or on a jolt trip) before attempting. You'll want to empty out the case before you start, so that you can make sure you get each and every bit of metal that will come off the rivets. Otherwise you do risk shorting out parts inside the case.

Yup drilling them out is the best option. Size it so that you drill off the head and the rivet falls through the hole.

yup make sure you have the right size... if you dont then you could use a smaller o ne and wiggle it around but thats not to good for the drill bit.... and lots of metal chips will fly aroudn so dont say we didnt warn j00!
