Ok I have a Dell 9300 which currently has Windows XP installed (factory setting) and a "trial" of WMCE which I wish to remove.

I never normally use dual boot systems unless something has gone wrong and I want retrieve files from the corrupt installation. In which case, I save the files and then format and start again fresh etc.

Now in this instance I'd like to clear out my trial of WMCE with the minimum of fuss.
Not having done this before, I thought I should consult the experts in the Operating Systems forum :)

Thanks in advance.

Boot to the OS you want to keep.

Delete the folder with the OS you wish to nuke.

Edit the boot.ini to remove the old OS from the boot menu.

Yes, that really is all there is to it. I promise.
