REMOVING ONBOARD AUDIO

is there a way to physically remove onboard audio? i have alot of tools that could actually remove the audio chip and audio jax in the back but would that screw up the mobo?

HA!

yeah i can disable it. just don't want it on there. anal i guess. on my epox 8kha+ even if i disable it in the bios it still works if i plug in the speaker jack. go figure.

I doubt that even the manufacture can take it out without damaging the board.

Disable in the BIOS, then go to system properties, and get rid of the drivers. If the drivers keep coming automatically, then check the OS not to use them.
