Removing old Scanners

I ran into an odd problem. I got a new scanner to replace this really old one that was dying on me. The old one actually replaced a canon i had that was pretty nice but ended up braking do to it getting packed underneath my tv when i moved. Anyways now when i'm in Adobe trying to scan i've got a list of 5 scanners only one of which i have and use. Is there a way to track down the old ones and destroy them forever? Thanks.

And while you're in Device Manager, click on View, then Show Hidden Devices. Then you can delete the old, unconnected devices. If that doesn't get it, you can take a risk of sleuthing around the registry. But that can cause serious problems if you delete the wrong stuff.

Yeah, use Add/remove software to remove the drivers and other programs and then just remove the devices themselves from Device Manager. You may also want to try the add/remove hardware tool in Control Panel.
