removing old computer names from network in Vista

I have renamed a computer..the new name shows up on all my networked computers and works fine, the problem is the old useless name also shows up..refreshing doesn't make them go away.

In XP it's easy to get rid of obsolete network names that show up, just right click and delete them, but there is no right click delete option in Vista.

i thought it deletes by itself in due time. just ignore it and it will disappear on is own.
