Removing multiple OS selection screen before XP starts up

I reformatted my Inspiron to get rid of the bloatware it shipped with. Partitioned the hard drive and everything, so I'm pretty certain everything was clear. But now when I startup my laptop I get that infernal screen asking me which OS I want to use. When I click the first "Windows XP Home Edition" I get my newly installed OS. When I click the second one, I get a disk error message.

How can I make it so that that stupid thing goes away? Any ideas?

Right click "My Computer" select "Properties" then go to the "Advance" tab and select "Start Up and Recovery" , from here you can either edit the OS selection or just uncheck the box where it says something like "Display Operating Sytems for ## seconds"
