Removing MSI Plate

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the metal backplate on the MSI SLI Mobo for AMD? I just recently bought the Zalman heatsink you guys recommended but i need to replace it with the black plate Zalman provided. I just don't wan't to force it out since i spent a nice penny on my mobo.

Thanks

You have to take the mobo out in order to remove the I/O shield. It comes out toward the inside of the case. It should just pop out - some few are held in with screws but most are just a friction fit.

You'll need to pry it off, it's taped on with some odd stuff. A screwdriver works best, but be careful you don't fugger up any traces.
(Did it and it works, I even have a Zalman 7700Cu on it)
