I had my processor unlocked with the pencil trick for a while, but knew i would have to eventually change to something more permanent like loctite.
Well that worked for a bit, but when i was applying it i accidently let a huge gob of it coveral a lot of the bridges. Well, i tried to wipe it off but i was unsure if it all came off, so i just put my computer together anyway.
It worked for a bit, but now it my comp stops at "verifying DMI pool data"
So, i assume it's because i goofed on the processor. Any tips?
Also here the most eternal question ever: "What's the best way to apply the loctite?"
And now that i've goofed, what's the best way to remove it so i can start over? Nail polish remover?
Thanks!

Use nail polish remover if it has acetone in it, otherwise just buy some acetone. and you might try a toothpick for applying it or a mechanical pencil lead or a pin. Anything that will go across both bridges at same time with just a little bit on it.

Hmm... did you do anything else to your computer? Usually when it hangs at "verifying DMA data...", it means something is wrong with the boot drive and it is not reading the boot sector properly or something.
