Hi everyone,

First off, before I get flamed for asking a question this general, let it be known that I tried searching both these forums and Google, and didn't have any luck.

Ok so, if uninstalling an application doesn't remove the options that it added to your systems right click menu, is there a way to manually remove it? I'm running Vista for what it's worth.

Thanks,
Brad

I use a program called ShellExView to get rid of unwanted junk in the context menu. ShellExview shows the list of shell extensions registered in windows registry which includes entries that go in the right click menu, sometimes the uninstaller will not be able to remove them so this program is really handy. Note that ShellExview shows all the registered extensions so only disable what you need.

The TweakUI Powertoy for WindowsXP (from Microsoft) does this as well. And I didn't know ccleaner did this too - thanks Shawn!
