Removing Default/Hidden Sharing in Windows 2000???

How do I modify Windows 2000 Profession edition to disable the AUTOMATIC sharing of my hard drives? I am current connected to a dsl line via a router.

I still want to be able to use File and PRint Sharing, but I just don't want my hard drives to be automatically shared upon startup. It's the default shares that I want to disable.

The only file shares that W2K creates automatically are the administrative shares which require an administrator username/password to access.

If you still want to disable them, see Q318751 for instructions.
