:disgust:
How can I remove unwanted customization by my ISP, in XP Pro. Customization occurs in "Outlook Express" and "IE" in the header. I seem to recall that this may be a registry entry only. Have no clue where.

eg. "Microsoft Inernet Explorer provided by Rogers Hi-speed Internet" etc.

It irks me no end that "Rogers" wants to " provide" me with a customized version of a painfully expensive OS.

Thanx

In regedit navigate to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

Change the value of the string "Window Title" to whatever you want on the titlebar of Internet Explorer - to have no title except the title of the web pages you are browsing do not enter anything for a value.

You could also change it in the group policy editor (gpedit.msc). Just go to User Configuration, then Windows Settings, then Internet Explorer Maintenance and then Browser User Interface.
