removing bios from 8kha+

I have an IC puller, but how the hell am I supposed to get it out? The bios is inside a little square and so I can't get into it. Any ideas?
 
You need a PLCC chip puller. Or you could gently pry it out using a couple of small jeweller's screwdrivers at the more open corners of the socket.
