removing arctic silver paste?

i seem to gotten some arctic silver on my FCPGA celeron800.
is there anyways i can remove it??

Water, dish detergent, and a tooth brush. Dry thoroughly with a hair dryer.

i did that the same thing with my slot a thunderbird 750.

i tried using alcohol and it still made a mess.
i was afraid that it might melt the thin later coating, so
i used a wet towel and starting rubbing it. i got most of off, but
PCB still looks white and not green.

Use goo-gone... That or WD-40... Any degreaser should work fine..
