removing an xp/linux dual boot

I have XP and Linux Suse on a dual boot right now. I want to wipe the Suse partition 😀 so I can have more room... I am using GRUB bootloader... If I get rid of suse, and with it GRUB, will I be unable to load xp? ..or at least have a problem of some sort? I seem to remember running into this problem before. What can I do to prevent this?

Any help is appreciated!
