Removing ads from DVR recordings.

Not much different from using the skip button just automated.

Seems to work pretty well. Using WtvWatcher & Lifextender.

Does anyone else use any other methods?

Using WtvWatcher & Lifextender works but if you have a bunch of recorded files then WtvWatcher will keep popping up with warnings to delete the files it already converted.

I have since found MCEBuddy: http://mcebuddy.com/ which will not only remove ads but convert the video files to save HDD space.

Another Media Center called MediaPortal: http://www.team-mediaportal.com/ will remove ads on the fly if you pause live TV for a bit and then resume. Haven't tested it yet.
