Removing a Thermal Pad ? ? ?

what is the best and safest way to remove the small thermal pad on a retail P3 700e?

nail polish remover is ok?

I've always scraped it off with a soft cloth then used rubbing alcohol to clean up the remains. Don't see any reason why nail polish remover wouldn't work, unless acetone is harmful to the pcb...since its retail removing the pad will void your warranty but you probably knew that already

i used nail polish remover. dabbed my finger in it and rubbed off all the sticky stuff. it dries pretty fast so it doesnt spill off too much.
